Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan’s volunteer organization, Pandawa Lima, officially declared their support for the presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair number two, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in the 2024 Presidential Election. The declaration of support took place at Djakarta Theater, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Friday, December 1, 2023.
The event was marked by the presence of various important figures, including Prabowo Subianto, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan’s brother, Nurmala Kartini Sjahrir who also serves as a Member of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for Prabowo-Gibran, Chairman of the TKN Rosan Roeslani, Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep, and others. The combination of Bravo-5 and Cakra-19, known as Pandawa Lima, demonstrated their strong commitment to supporting the Prabowo-Gibran pair.
The Chairman of Pandawa Lima, Lieutenant General (retired) Eko Wiratmoko, in his speech, emphasized the commitment of the Pandawa Lima volunteers to win for Prabowo-Gibran.
“As the chairman, I affirm to all Pandawa Lima volunteers to commit and resolve to win for pair number two,” said Eko Wiratmoko.
The Secretary-General of Pandawa Lima, Ryano Panjaitan, read the declaration script, stating the organization’s readiness to support and accompany Prabowo and Gibran in realizing the vision and mission of the Asta Cita program for all the people of Indonesia. Prabowo Subianto expressed his gratitude and honor for the support.
“Today I am honored to receive the declaration of support from the Pandawa Lima volunteer organization,” said Prabowo.
In his speech, Prabowo also emphasized the importance of Pandawa Lima’s involvement in politics as a form of responsibility for the continuity of the nation and state. Pandawa Lima, with their rich experience and the leadership of Eko Wiratmoko, is committed to bringing positive change in Indonesia through their support for Prabowo-Gibran.
