President Prabowo Subianto has confirmed the participation of 352 TNI soldiers in the military parade to mark the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia is pleased and privileged to receive the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to march in the front row of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is expected to hold meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU on collaboration in areas like health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, meetings with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also scheduled during his visit.
