President Prabowo Subianto was warmly welcomed by Indonesian students in Türkiye, together with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The interaction took place during a dinner gathering, where Prabowo engaged in an open dialogue with the students. He showed genuine interest in the students by taking selfies and group photos with them, and asking about their hometowns and well-being. One of the students, Muhammad Munirudin, who is also the chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama chapter in Türkiye, expressed appreciation for Prabowo’s personal inquiries into their living conditions, studies, and challenges they face while studying in Türkiye. The students felt valued and supported by the President, as part of the Indonesian diaspora they are eager to contribute positively under Prabowo’s leadership. The visit highlighted the strong bond between Prabowo and Erdoğan, with the Turkish President presenting a special souvenir to Prabowo – a photo album capturing their memorable moments together. This heartwarming meeting further strengthens the relationship between Indonesia and Türkiye.
